Who We Are
After 20 years in the business, Meghan and Scott McDonald were encouraged by their kids, Devin, MacKenna, and Akeem, to follow their dream and open their own Real Estate Brokerage. Meghan had started Property Management departments at other brokerages over the years and now it was time to do their own family-run brokerage. With the love and help of her family, in a record setting 5 days the brokerage opened. Meghan and her office manager/licensed agent (and daughter), MacKenna Perrin, took their knowledge of the business, software and processes they had set up over the years and fine-tuned them for their own company. Scott then took his 27 years of construction experience and filled his role as Field Manager.
Scott's late father, Dennis McDonald had always wished for this family brokerage dream for Meghan and Scott. He had told them many times to do this for themselves. When it came time to name the company, without hesitation, we decided on DKM REALTY LLC, to honor Scott's father, Denny, as those were his initials. Someone who always was the supportive father she hadn't had since hers had passed away when she was very young. Someone she was always proud to call family.
